Kayla Gwendolyn Revilla is the daughter of Paula and the sister of Maya. During this conversation, the 3 of them dive into her desire to shift her identity within her 20s. She shares about her upbringing and the struggles that she had as a late teen and had a call to change everything about herself during times where she felt her health was suffering. Kayla recently had a friend who suffered with addiction and took their own life, and she shares her story in hopes of bringing awareness to options that are available to those who struggle with making changes in their lives. She hopes that those who listen to her story keep an open heart as she courageously opens herself up to her past challenges and moves beyond denial, shame, and judgment. She shares her experiences with suboxone and her struggles with big pharma and the broken system for surrounding addiction. Kayla shares her story of hope and encouragement of alternatives beyond addiction and suicide.
