Katherine Porter is a Body Mind Coach. She has her degree in social work. She has cultivated her practice through her deep understanding of connecting with people and helps to guide them where they want to go. She has served 1:1 and group settings with undocumented populations, women and children, policy development, school age centers as a counselor, and received her bachelors at Marquette University and earned her masters at Catholic University of America.
Katherine holds space for how it is that people want to feel. We discuss embodiment and strategy for how to be aware of what your body is telling you. What lies underneath behavior is emotion. Emotion drives behavior. She touches on connecting the 3 brains in the body: the mind, the heart, and the gut. We dove into rational thinking and listening to sensations of the body. We discuss comfort zones, status quo, and limited beliefs that cause fears and physical discomforts when leaning into changing patterns of how we live. She speaks to alignment within the body and unlocking growth through life experiences.
